Knowing your landed cost does not give you a price. This works from what the product costs to make and what it weighs, through duty, GST and freight, to a number you can actually put on the page in SGD — rounded the way Singapore prices things.
The duty rate is set by your HS code, not the category. Don't know it? Estimate it from your product page

What actually differs about selling into Singapore
- Shopee and Lazada dominate at 5–12% plus mandatory campaign participation. Amazon.sg is small by comparison.
- Most consumer goods enter duty-free, so landed cost is freight plus GST — the cleanest tax picture on this list.
- Singapore is often used as a test market for Southeast Asia because English listings work and logistics are fast.

Questions people ask
How do I price a product for Singapore?
Start from what it costs you to make and what it weighs. Add freight for that weight, duty at your HS rate, and GST where it applies — that is your landed cost. Divide by one minus your target margin and fees, convert to SGD, then round to what Singapore shoppers expect to see. This calculator does all of it.
Does weight really change the retail price?
On small parcels it dominates. On this page a 0.1kg unit and a 2kg unit differ by S$50 at the same margin, because freight is charged per kilo and small shipments carry a fixed base fee. Bulky-but-light products are charged on volumetric weight instead.
Is there a duty-free threshold for Singapore?
The threshold is None. GST applies to imported low-value goods regardless of value. Most consumer goods carry no duty.
Why is the recommended price not a round number?
It is rounded to the convention of the market. Singapore prices land on S$….9, so the calculator rounds up to the nearest one rather than showing a raw figure nobody would put on a page.
